Overview

Indonesian tourism platform that aims to connect travellers and local hosts. It offers some unique local experiences that are more memorable and valuable than typical tour packages. Because we believe that the best way to travel in Indonesia is to experience the home-like feeling and be as delightful as the locals.

Ideation

Problems we tried to solve

The difficulties to find the unique places as travel destination but also with affordable price, and security issue regarding their need of being safe and assured during the trip.

Proposed value

An affordable yet unique travel experiences for our costumer segments, that are different from any other platforms. Also to assure safety to our costumer especially on their confidentiality during the trip.

Target User

Our first costumer segment is the young people aged 18-25 years old whether they are working or studying. Other customers are the hosters providing the the accommodation  also as the local guides.

The ways to understand and receive reliable data were through researching on news and collecting the data from other competitors or trusted websites. Here is the one of our research preview about our target user's profile

Before We designed these features and the websites, We had to take into account other similar companies (Competitive research). The reasons were that We need to get the as many ideas as possible and took benefits from that. Also, we might consider the drawbacks then solve them. As a result, our startup would learn more whether the features are more beneficial or disadvantageous. Here is the brief preview of our research;


Business Model Idea

This was our first business idea about this startup. As time goes by and as we went through further research, somechanges were made in order to meet the user's needs.

Low Fidelity

This low fidelity represents the first plan for minimum variable product (MVP) of DOLANNO. It helped me a lot to make many website outlines and then to decide which was the proper one for our users.

I transformed my ideas from scratch into wireframe using Adobe XD. The reason was because we wanted to know the actual size for every single aspect in website before developing it. We planned to test it into real users using A/B testing. However, we had not implemented the MVP into the actual working website, because we were still focusing on user’s validation and the iteration of understanding the user’s needs.


High Fidelity

This high fidelity had several modifications from low fidelity because these works were made for validating the users, not for the MVP. So, as a web designer who developed it into a actual website in the shortest time possible, I chose to made the simplest design (only home page).
