Talking about animals: Designing voice-based chatbots for zoo visitor

Design consideration for conversational UX and physical interface VBC on Zoo, 2020

Zoos are trialling a range of digital technologies aiming to enhance the visitor experience. Voice-based chatbots are of interest as a tool that offers new ways of interaction for visitors to learn about animals. This project explores the opportunities for voice-based chatbots to be used in zoos and how it might be deployed to enhance the visitor experience.

Science Gallery is an international group of public science centres; Science Gallery Melbourne as one of this group will be opened in 2020. This project is about conducting a fieldwork investigation of user needs and proposing a design plan for increasing user experience in Science Gallery Melbourne. Indonesian tourism platform that aims to connect travellers and local hosts. It offers some unique local experiences that are more memorable and valuable than typical tour packages. Because we believe that the best way to travel in Indonesia is to experience the home-like feeling and be as delightful as the locals.

Case: organise fresh products in Woolworths, 2019

This project analyzed how users intuitively organised fresh products in Woolworth supermarket. The main aim is to identify relevant users, sort items in corresponding group and analysing the outcome.

Better Us

A new ways for practicing sports, 2019

BetterUs is a platform that enables sports lovers to create and participate in events with the goal to socialise with other people always taking care of their own body throughout their common desire for sport. The aim of Better Us is to motivate people to share the same interests and passions in physical activities. The original proposal consists in allowing people to create events in a short-medium-long term period.

Super Note

Combining multiple devices as a novel way of note taking, 2019

SUPER NOTE consists of two applications based on Microsoft Hololens and mobile devices. These applications combined as one common application to ease users in taking notes.

Evaluating the User Experience

Ikea's design your space website, 2019

This project investigated factors that could be improved with IKEA’s “Design your space” feature through a usability test. This is done by first devising a usability test plan, where a full test protocol was created to facilitate the test. Following the test protocol, a number of participants were recruited, and data was collected by asking the participants to perform series of tasks on the website.
